CORDUSA Raleigh Expands Its Impact in 2024

In 2024, CORDUSA Raleigh took significant strides in expanding its impact by launching a Women’s Mentorship Program and nurturing Youth Ambassadors of Tomorrow through hands-on community service. These new initiatives, in addition to our flagship annual charity run, created fresh opportunities for individuals eager to contribute but previously unsure of how to get involved.

Throughout 2024 and into the first half of 2025, our dedicated volunteers actively participated in a variety of local community programs, all guided by the goal of bringing maximum happiness to maximum people for the maximum amount of time.

Amid this ongoing service, our volunteer leadership team also worked diligently behind the scenes to organize the 10th Annual CORDUSA Charity Run. Their efforts culminated in a hugely successful event on June 21st at WakeMed Soccer Park, where more than 250 enthusiastic participants gathered to run for a noble cause. Through registrations, sponsorships, donations, and corporate matches, the event raised over $24,000—funds that will go directly to support individuals on their journey to self-sufficiency and dignity.

We are especially proud of our team of volunteers who dedicated countless hours to planning, outreach, and execution to make this milestone event possible. In addition to the funds raised for CORD’s rural empowerment initiatives in India, we were honored to donate $2,500 to the Wake County Women’s Center, supporting women in our own local community as they navigate difficult circumstances.

Together, we continue to prove that compassion, action, and collaboration can transform lives—near and far.
